Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 9, 2026

At GlassLint, we are committed to providing visual design accessibility audits while respecting the privacy and data protection rights of our users. This Privacy Policy details how we handle cookies, tracking, and local data processing.

1. Google Analytics Disclosure

We use Google Analytics (specifically GA4) to track aggregated website visitor behavior. This helps us optimize website performance, measure traffic volumes, and ensure our server resources remain healthy. Google Analytics uses cookie files saved to your local browser storage to collect telemetry data.

No analytical tracking is initiated or dropped onto your browser unless you give active, explicit consent by clicking "Accept All" in our Cookie Preferences banner.

2. Data Collected

Google Analytics collects standardized data including:

No proprietary design assets, colors, or mockup images uploaded to our canvas are ever sent to Google Analytics or any other external server. All canvas pixel rendering, RGB extraction, and contrast math calculations occur entirely within your local web browser.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Laws, our legal basis for loading tracking cookies and processing visitor analytical data is **Consent**. You have the absolute right to refuse this consent, and you can reject tracking entirely without any degradation to the functionality of the GlassLint checker tool.

4. Google's Data Use

To learn more about how Google processes and protects visitor information when we use their integration, please review their formal disclosure here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

5. Opt-Out and Consent Withdrawal

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser cache and local storage, which will re-trigger our Cookie Preference banner. Alternatively, you can use the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to disable GA tracking globally across all websites.
