About GlassLint

Our Mission

GlassLint was born out of a common designer-developer conflict: the desire to build beautiful, modern, glassmorphic interfaces versus the strict necessity to maintain high web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).

Implementing frosted glass designs requires complex alpha-blending math to ensure that text layered over a blurred, translucent backdrop meets contrast guidelines. Traditional color contrast checkers only examine solid hex values and fail when transparency is involved. GlassLint solves this problem by using HTML5 Canvas to sample actual screen pixels locally, calculate the blended result, and provide instant visual feedback—all while preserving user privacy.

Who We Are

Elliot
Founder, Privacy & Accessibility Advocate

Elliot is a designer and developer driven to make the web inclusive. After noticing how difficult it is to ensure modern design trends—like glassmorphic overlays and translucent elements—meet strict accessibility contrast ratios, he built GlassLint to handle the complex alpha-blending calculations automatically and help creators build beautiful, compliant interfaces.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

GlassLint is dedicated to helping designers and developers build beautiful, accessible web interfaces. We focus on providing accurate, private, and reliable auditing tools modeled directly on international web standards:
